akan menjelaskan tentang kalimat bahasa inggris. Semoga bermanfaató …Ž ❤ Persyaratan sebuah kalimat dalam
bahasa inggris adalah minimal memiliki subject dan kata kerja. Dengan adanya
minimal 2 komponen tersebut, sebuah kalimat dapat dinyatakan bisa berdiri
sendiri dan lengkap. Subjek dibagi menjadi 2, yaitu Noun
dan Pronoun. Noun adalah kata benda dalam bentuk paling sederhana, sedangkan Pronoun merupakan kata benda yang memiliki tambahan keterangan untuk
menjelaskan benda tersebut (kata ganti benda yang dimaksud dalam kalimat). Berikut
adalah tabel Noun dan Pronoun:

Its
Gerund Gerund adalah kata kerja yang berubah fungsi menjadi
kata benda. Cara membentuk Gerund adalah dengan menambahkan –ing setelah kata
kerja.
Contoh kalimat: Accounting is my major in
faculty of economics and business.
To Infinitive To Infinitive adalah pengganti subjek, objek, dan juga
bisa digunakan sebagai pembukaan sebuah kalimat. Penggunaannya dengan menulis
to+verb 1.
Contoh kalimat:
1.To
travel around the world is a dream of many people.
2.John
and Marie decided to buy a new car.
Clause Clause adalah sekelompok kata yang terdiri dari subjek
dan kata kerja. Clause terdiri dari 2 jenis, yaitu Independent Clause dan Dependent Clause.
Contoh kalimat:
1.As
children grow older, they copy their parents’ behaviour and way of living.
2.According
to a survey, women have more emotional attachment to their children compared to
men.
Verb
Verb adalah kata kerja yang biasanya menandakan
terjadinya suatu kegiatan fisik di dalam sebuah kalimat. Tidak semua kata kerja
berhubungan dengan kegiatan fisik, ada beberapa kata kerja yang di kategorikan
sebagai kata kerja pembantu dalam kalimat (Auxiliary Verb).
Contoh kalimat:
1.I
have been studying english since 2005.
2.Betty
seems sad in her wedding party.
Auxiliary Verb
·Auxiliary Verb juga disebut kata kerja
pembantu.
·Auxiliary verb diletakkan sebelum kata
kerja sebenarnya.
To Be Contoh kalimat yang menggunakan be (is, am, are, was,
were, been, be) sebagai kata kerja pembantu:
1.I
am a teacher, but it doesn’t mean I know all answers.
2.She
is indeed beautiful in that red dress.
3.They
are my precious friends from the same high school.
4.He
was a doctor when he joined military.
5.You
were very brave when they tried to bully you.
6.Rio
has been waiting for his turn to see the dentist.
7.Rina
would be married next week if you didn’t come.
To Do To Do terdiri atas do, does, dan did
·Biasanya setelah do, does, did kata
kerjanya dalam bentuk dasar artinya verb 1.
Contoh kalimat:
1.You
do walk like a snail.
2.Ivone
does inherit her mother’s beauty.
3.He
did tricked the swindlers.
To Have To Have terdiri atas have, has, dan had
·Biasanya setelah have, has, had kata
kerjanya dalam bentuk ketiga (past participle).
Contoh kalimat:
1.We
have treated her real nice for a long time.
2.He
has eaten all the cakes in the fridge.
3.They
had worked here for 2 years.
Modals Modals terdiri atas can, will, shall, could, would,
should, may, might, dan must
·Biasanya diikuti oleh kata dasar yaitu
verb 1.
·Juga menggunakan salah satu dari semua
modals dalam satu kalimat.
Contoh kalimat:
1.I
can do this much by myself.
2.He
will try to persuade her today.
3.She
shall never pass as a good athlete.
4.Mom
could prepare more dishes if you wish.
5.My
nig brother would help me in doing assignment from time to time.
6.Eri
should look for a better apartment.
7.She
may look depressed, but actually she is vey happy.
8.I
might choose another job rather than this complicated one.
9.You
must learn how to run a business.

Hi, I'm Geby Chesilia Sanora. I'm here to report an assignment of English Class. On Tuesday, August 27th, i visited "Festival Durian Bumi Khatulistiwa 2019" at the parking area of Ayani Megamall. It was quite festive and crowded. This festival was held from 24th of August-1st of September.
There were so many food and beverage stands. They sold various foods from local cuisines. They also held Durian Eating Contest, you can eat durian as much as you want by paying only Rp50.000 for 30 minutes. The durian seedlings were also sold there.
This festival not only focused on Durian Eating Contest, but there were also other competitions such as The Best Durian Contest, Fun Zumba, Farming Ambassador 2019 Contest, Colouring Competition for Kids, Live Music, Sarasehan Durian, Durian Cooking Competition, Mural Competition, Fashion Show Competition, and Dancing Competition. The prize was also amazing, the total amount was Rp100.000.000.
When i visited the festival, it was still on a daylight, so there were no performance on the stage. The were still decorating the stage. The perfomance might be held on the last day of fesival. The relationship of this festival with my major, economic, is the media to promote business and introduce our local products in order to increase the economic deveploment. In economic, if there are many activities related to business transactions, it signs the healthy development and helps to open more job opportunity.
